Sketch released in Hallmark store robbery
Police have released a sketch of one of two men who, they said, robbed a Hallmark store.
Sugar Land police said the men went to the counter to pay for a card at the store on the Southwest Freeway near Williams Trace Boulevard about 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 4. Once the register was open, they told employees they were armed, investigators said.
The men took cash from the register and merchandise from a display rack before leaving the store in a white Toyota Corolla, police said.
No weapons were ever displayed during the robbery. No one was hurt.
One of the men was described as Hispanic with a thin build, 30 to 34 years old and 5 feet 7 inches tall with a thin mustache and tattoos on both arms. He was last seen wearing a maroon, short-sleeved, button-down shirt, blue jeans and a baseball cap.
The second man was described as 6 feet tall, 40 to 45 years old with dark skin and a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, khaki pants and a red cap.
Anyone with information should call Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS.
