Monday morning, showers are popping up on Exact Track Radar with drizzle in the Houston area. We’ll see scattered showers and storms later this morning and afternoon.
A trough of low pressure will trigger more rain for us today along with deep tropical moisture from the Gulf. Some storms could be strong with dangerous lightning. Our afternoon highs will only top out in the upper 80s, thanks to the rain.
We have rain chances through the entire week, so keep those rain jackets and umbrellas handy!
In the Pacific, we’re monitoring Hurricane Daniel and Hurricane Emilia. Both storms are category 1 hurricanes, and moving west in the Pacific. The Atlantic, Gulf and Caribbean are all quiet.
