Senator Gallegos lays to rest

HOUSTON -

Gallegos funeral mass and reception was held in Houston.

A final farewell to the 62 year old Senator who passed away on October 16, 2012 from liver disease.

Gallegos had received a liver transplant back in 2007 that caused complications.

The funeral mass was held in the morning at the Sacred Heart Co - Cathedral on 1701 San Jacinto.

Following the funeral, a reception took place at the CWA Hall on 1730 Jefferson Street.
