SAN ANTONIO -

A second man has been charged with assault over shots fired into a South Texas house that wounded a 3-year-old girl as a man outside was slain.

San Antonio police say 21-year-old Damien Deleon was being held Monday on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the Nov. 7 attack. Bond has been set at $75,000 for Deleon, who was arrested Sunday. Online jail records did not list an attorney for him.

Police say Jaylyn Vasquez was grazed by a bullet while in a bedroom. Authorities say Joe Richard Santos was fatally shot in an apparent lingering dispute from an earlier fight.

Police last week arrested Jonathan Daniel Miranda on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Neither suspect has been charged in the slaying.
