A high school cafeteria worker was fired after being accused of having inappropriate contact with a student.

Officials say a student at Brazoswood High School reported the exchanges to a school resource officer.

Charges have not yet been filed. The Clute Police Department is investigating the allegations.

The Brazosport Independent School District said an investigation is underway.
