PORTER, Texas -

A stranger approached a student at a bus stop twice and left inappropriate photos both times, school district officials said.

New Caney Independent School District officials said a sixth-grade student was approached at a bus stop on Ford Road near the Trinity Forest mobile home park in Porter between 7:10 and 7:45 a.m.

According to a letter sent home to parents, the man initially opened his door and dropped an inappropriate photo and left. He came back a few minutes later, asked the 11-year-old girl several questions and then dropped a second inappropriate photograph, school district officials said.

"I wasn't sure if he was going to try to kidnap me, try to abuse me, rape me, or something like that. So I was terrified," Ariel Lee said.

Ariel's mother said she is thankful that her daughter was not harmed.

"It's still very overwhelming because, I mean, right now I could be standing here talking about where she's at. And right now at least I have her," mother Jami Lee said.

The man was described as white and in his 40s with brown hair, a mustache and a beard. He was driving a newer model, full-size, black SUV.
