"It's been wet off and on all morning long," KPRC Local 2 meteorologist Anthony Yanez said. "We can continue to see that pretty much all day long."
Tuesday has a 60 percent chance of rain, with the rain diminishing as the day progresses.
"None of this is severe, but some areas are getting a little pocket of heavy rain here and there," Yanez said. "Every once in a while, you'll see a really good downpour."
More rain is expected Wednesday, when a 40 percent chance of rain is predicted.
"It may not be as wet Wednesday morning, but possibly a little fog," Yanez said.
The high on Tuesday will be 76 degrees.
Wednesday will have a low of 62 and a high of 78.
