Pump Patrol: Save 59 cents a gallon

The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.38. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 59 cents less.
The following three stations sold gas for less on Friday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.
- Citgo, Westheimer & Elmside, Alvin: $2.79
- Chevron, Crabb River Rd. & Sansbury, Richmond: $2.92
- James Food Mart, East James St. & Kilgore, Baytown: $2.99
