Pump Patrol: Save 45 cents a gallon

The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.44. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 45 cents less.
The following three stations sold gas for less on Monday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.
- Conoco, West Parkwood Ave. & San Joaquin Pkwy., Friendswood: $3.09
- Buc-ee's, Crabb River Rd. & Sansbury Blvd., Richmond: $3.00
- CITGO, Hwy. 35 & FM 517, Alvin: $2.99
