Pump Patrol: Save 44 cents a gallon

The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.33. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 44 cents less.
The following three stations sold gas for less on Tuesday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.
- Conoco, West Parkwood Ave. & San Joaquin Pkwy., Friendswood: $2.99
- Buc-ee's, Crabb River Rd. & Sansbury Blvd., Richmond: $2.99
- Murphy USA, Hwy 6 & East Alvin Bypass, Alvin: $2.89
