Pump Patrol: Save 43 cents a gallon on diesel

The average cost of a gallon of diesel gas in Houston is $3.96. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 43 cents less.
The following three stations sold gas for less on Friday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.
- Texaco, Fallbrook & Perry Rd., Northwest Houston: $3.63
- CITGO, Beechnut & Wilcrest Dr., Southwest Houston: $3.53
- Gulf, Hwy 288 & Holcombe Blvd., The Med Center: $3.28 for regular
