Pump Patrol: Save 39 cents a gallon

The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.18. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 39 cents less.
The following three stations sold gas for less on Wednesday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.
- Jack's Fuel Depot, Red Bluff near Olson: $2.79 (cash only)
- Buc-ee's, Highway 35 near F.M. 517 in Alvin: $2.92
- Chevron, F.M. 529 near Fairview: $2.98
