Pump Patrol: Save 29 cents a gallon

The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.65. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 29 cents less. The following three stations sold gas for less on Friday, according to GasBuddy.com.
- Murphy USA, Dixie Farm Rd. & FM 518, Pearland: $3.46
- CITGO, West Parkwood Ave. & Sun Meadow Blvd., Friendswood: $3.44
- Buc-ee's, Hwy. 35 & FM 517, Alvin: $3.36
