Pump Patrol: Save 28 cents a gallon

The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.23. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 28 cents less.
The following three stations sold gas for less on Monday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.
- Chevron, Crabb River Road near Sandsbury Boulevard in Sugar Land: $2.95
- Valero, Barker Cypress near West Road: $3.14
- HEB, Katy Freeway near Pin Oak Road in Katy: $3.15
