The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston on Monday was $3.85. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 26 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Monday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

  • Chevron, Highway 146 near El Chaco in Baytown: $3.59
  • Murphy USA, Fry Road near Plantation in Katy: $3.64
  • Valero, Highway 6 near Kieth Harrow Boulevard in northwest Houston: $3.64
