Pump Patrol: Save 25 cents a gallon

The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.18. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 25 cents less.
The following three stations sold gas for less on Monday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.
- Kroger, Red Bluff near Preston in Pasadena: $2.93
- Chevron, F.M. 529 near Eldridge Parkway: $2.98
- Citgo, Highway 6 near Old Richmond: $2.98 (cash card required)
