Pump Patrol: Save 24 cents a gallon

The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.19. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 24 cents less.
The following three stations sold gas for less on Tuesday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.
- CITGO, Bissonnet & Cook Rd., Southwest Houston: $2.99
- Buc-ee's, Hwy 35 & FM 517, Alvin: $2.98
- Conoco, Gulf Fwy & FM 517, Dickinson: $2.95
