Pump Patrol: Save 24 cents a gallon

The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.14. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 24 cents less.
The following three stations sold gas for less on Friday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.
- H-E-B, South St. & Gordon St., Alvin: $2.90
- H-E-B, FM 1960 East & Atasocita Rd., Atascocita: $2.94
- Stripes, Monroe Rd. & Blackhawk Ridge Ln., Southeast Houston: $2.97
