Pump Patrol: Save 24 cents a gallon

The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.54. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 24 cents less.
The following three stations sold gas for less on Tuesday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.
- Southwest Houston: Valero, West Airport and Fondren: $3.30
- Alvin: Murphy USA, Highway 6 and East Alvin Bypass: $3.36
- Northwest Houston: Sam's Club, West Road and Highway 290: $3.40
