Pump Patrol: Save 24 cents a gallon

The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.43. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 24 cents less.
The following three stations sold gas for less on Monday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.
- Big C Market, Preston Road near Pine Avenue in Pasadena: $3.19
- Chevron, Clay Road near Barker Cypress: $3.22
- Stripes, Main Street near F.M. 2978 in Tomball: $3.26
