The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.18. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 24 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Friday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

  • Chevron, Crabb River Road near Sansbury Boulevard in Sugar Land: $2.94
  • Rudy's, I-45 near Louetta in Spring: $3.05
  • A Food Mart, Rolling Creek Drive near F.M. 1960: $3.05
