The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.22. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 23 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Tuesday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

  • HEB, Fairmont Parkway near Space Center Boulevard in Pasadena: $2.99
  • Sam's Club, East Freeway near Haden Road: $3.05
  • Kroger, Fry Road near Park Row Drive in Katy: $3.12
