The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.40. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 22 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Monday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

  • Sam's Club, Westpark Dr. & south Rice Ave., Southwest Houston: $3.25
  • Valero, FM 529 & Jackrabbit Rd., Jersey Village: $3.24
  • CITGO, Red Bluff & McNay Dr., Pasadena: $3.18
