The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston on Thursday was $3.89. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 20 cents less.

  • Murphy USA, Fry Road at Plantation Grove Trail: $3.75
  • Shell, First Avenue near Texas Avenue in Texas City: $3.79
