The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston on Friday was $3.40. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 19 cents less.

  • Murphy USA, Fry Road near Plantation Grove Trail in Katy: $3.21
  • Dave's Express, Root Road near Gosling in Spring: $3.25
  • Shell, Sam Houston Parkway at Gessner: $3.25
