Pump Patrol: Save 18 cents a gallon

The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.17. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 18 cents less.
The following three stations sold gas for less on Thursday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.
- Chevron, East Fwy & Maxey Rd., East Houston: $3.01
- Kroger, Fry Rd. & Park Row Dr., Katy: $3.00
- Valero, First St. & Rice St., Rosenberg: $2.99
