Pump Patrol: Save 18 cents a gallon

The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.11. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 18 cents less.
The following three stations sold gas for less on Monday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.
- Valero, West Parkwood Ave. & Sunset Drive, Friendswood: $2.93
- Chevron, Woodforest Blvd. & Normandy St., East Houston: $2.91
- Murphy USA, Kuykendahl & FM 2920, Spring: $2.91
