The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston on Thursday was $3.56. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 17 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Thursday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

  • Citgo, F.M. 2920 and Falvel Road: $3.39
  • Kroger, Fry Road near West Little York: $3.39
  • Sam's Club, South Loop near Fannin: $3.41
