The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.25. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 17 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Friday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

  • H-E-B, Southwest Fwy & Grand Parkway, Sugar Land: $3.47 for diesel
  • CITGO, Hamilton & Webster, Downtown Houston: $3.38 for diesel
  • Exxon, Southwest Fwy & Hwy 36, Rosenberg: $3.08 for regular
