Pump Patrol: Save 17 cents a gallon

The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.14. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 17 cents less.
The following three stations sold gas for less on Monday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.
- Sam's, East Fwy & Haden Rd., East Houston: $2.97
- Exxon, Sam Houston Pkwy & Telephone Rd., Southeast Houston: $2.97
- Valero, Barker Cypress & West Rd., Northwest Houston: $3.03
