Pump Patrol: Save 17 cents a gallon

The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston on Wednesday was $3.88. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 17 cents less.
The following three stations sold gas for less on Wednesday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.
- Kroger, Fry Road near West Little York in Katy: $3.71
- Sam's Club, East Freeway near Haden Road: $3.74
- Exxon, Broadway near Cullen in Pearland: $3.76
