The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston is $3.35. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 16 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Tuesday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

  • Raceway, Highway 6 near Pine Forest Drive: $3.19
  • Kroger, F.M. 528 near Bay Area Boulevard in Friendswood: $3.19
  • Shell, Kuykendahl near Rayford Road in Spring: $3.21
