Americans are settling in behind the wheel of their current car for at least ten years.

USA Today reports nearly 80 percent of people in a survey said they're holding on to their vehicles for at least a decade.

The paper cites an unscientific online poll from AutoMD.com, which surveyed more than 4,000 people.

The website rates car repair services.
