Police are searching for a man who stabbed his female friend inside a Katy house Sunday.

Katy police said the suspect stabbed the woman after the two friends began arguing in the house in the 900 block of Baylor Street and Town Park Boulevard at 11:45 a.m. The man then fled the scene.

Paramedics took the woman by Life Flight helicopter to the hospital, where she is expected to be OK.
