A high school student has been accused of shooting a man who was a witness to a hit-and-run wreck.
Tyrone Smith, 17, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Detectives said the victim told them that he was sitting on his front porch when he witnesses a red car that hit his neighbor's van and take off.
Later, investigators said a group of high school kids wearing Furr High School shirts drove by that man's house and shot him.
Smith's bail was set at $30,000.
