A south Houston woman tried bribing a police officer after she was pulled over on suspicion of drunk driving, said police.
Police said a driver who ran several stop signs was reported in Deer Park on June 5.
An officer pulled over Amanda Garcia, 21, for failing to signal a lane change in the 800 block of Boston Street.
Police said Garcia, who already has one DWI conviction, offered the officer $200 if he didn't arrest her.
A judge dismissed the bribery charge after finding no probable cause.
Garcia is still charged with second offense DWI, a Class A misdemeanor.
She has posted $5,000 bail.
