HOUSTON -

Police are searching for whoever broke into a night club in northeast Houston.

Investigators said the crook smashed a window at the Drive night club on Cavalcade and Blaffer around 3:30 a.m. Friday.

Once inside, the crook broke into the pool table and juke box, police said.

When police arrived, investigators said they sent in a K-9 unit to search for the intruder, but he'd since fled the scene. Officials said they found the club's cash register in a ditch.

The crook got away with an unknown amount of cash.

The owner of the club said this was the seventh time the club has been broken into. The last time, the owner said the crooks got away with some flat screen televisions.
