Police: Christmas decorations stolen, vandalized in Friendswood

Yard decorations stolen include wired reindeer, snowman, gingerbread men

Christmas decorations have been stolen or vandalized within the past week in Friendswood.

According to police, suspects stole Christmas yard decorations from the 1400 block of Eagle Lakes Drive. Three wooden gingerbread men were taken.

In the 1700 block of Orlando Street, police said suspects stole two wooden toy soldier cutouts and three wooden gift box cutouts. A red wooden Snoopy dog house and a brown wooden three-reindeer cut-out were taken from the 1900 block of Sandy Lake Drive.

Early Sunday morning, Christmas decorations in the 300 block of Northcliff Ridge Lane were vandalized. Suspects had moved and separated a white wire deer into pieces.

Also that night, in the 2400 block of Mountain Falls Ct., a wire snowman and wire reindeer were crushed, and a white wire polar bear was stolen. At another home, two wire deer were damaged and two others were placed in suggestive sexual positions, according to police.
