The Paton Village city council was supposed to meet Monday night to decide if the mayor should get a pay cut. However, only three of the four council members were in attendance. Four are needed for the meeting. Council members said they will meet again later this week.
Mayor Pamela Munoz is currently facing trial on corruption charges and allegations she didn't disclose a previous felony conviction when she ran for mayor.
Munoz is currently Montgomery County's highest paid mayor with a salary of about $70,000.
New members of city council had called the meeting to vote on a drastic pay cut for Munoz. They want to cut her salary to minimum wage.
