Nov. 6: Southeast Texas Children At Risk

HOUSTON -

Children are our most precious assets. So why are the children of southeast Texas so at risk? High rates of uninsured, poverty, dropouts and exposure to violence are just a few of the negative environmental factors faced by thousands of our children.

Three experts join host Khambrel Marshall to talk about the risks our children face, what their organizations are doing to make a difference, and what you can do to help.

Dr. Robert Sanborn is the president/CEO of Children at Risk, Dr. Bob Wimpelberg is executive director of All KIDS Alliance and Anat Kelman Shaw is the communications director for the Children's Defense Fund-Texas.
