Northwest Harris County home evacuated after gas leak

A northwest Harris County home was evacuated Friday after a gas leak.
The Cy Creek Volunteer Fire Department said a construction crew hit a 4-inch gas line on Haverford at West Rayford around 2:30 p.m.
Gas shot out of the ground and streets in the area were blocked off. Six homes were without gas service.
CenterPoint Energy has a crew on the scene to cap the leak.
No injuries have been reported.
