Part of one of Houston's busiest freeways has reopened after being shut down for about three hours Thursday because of a multivehicle collision.
Houston police said two 18-wheelers and a pickup truck collided in the eastbound lanes of the Northwest Freeway near Mangum about 11:30 a.m.
All of the eastbound lanes were closed to traffic while police investigated and crews cleared the wreckage. All lanes were reopened about 3 p.m.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
