Neighbor killed after argument

Police said a man was shot and killed after complaining about the noise coming from a neighbor's birthday party Sunday morning.

Houston police said the man went to his upstairs neighbor's apartment at a duplex on Dunlavy at Indiana at about 2:00 a.m.

The man knocked on the door, complained about the noise and then walked back downstairs to his apartment.

Police said his neighbor grabbed a gun, followed him and shot him. The victim died in his doorway.

The upstairs neighbor accused of the shooting stayed until police arrived and was arrested.
