NASA astronaut applications are due

The time is now if you want to apply to be a NASA astronaut. The application deadline is due Friday.
After Jan. 27, anyone wanting to apply will not be able to sign up for the astronaut classes.
The space agency said they typically receive around 3,500 applications, but only a fraction are accepted and even fewer make it to space.
To apply, you will at least need to have a degree in engineering, science or math. You will also need three years of professional experience. Teachers are encouraged to apply.
