Motorcyclist killed in northwest Harris County crash

HOUSTON -

Crash investigators are working to determine how fast a motorcyclist was driving when he crashed.

Deputies said he crashed at Golden Gate and Port Northwest in northwest Harris County around 2 a.m. on Thursday. They said he was speeding and not wearing a helmet when he hit a curb and lost control.

The motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital but did not survive.  He has not been identified.
