A motorcyclist died a week after he was hit by a car.

Houston police said the motorcyclist was leaving a private driveway in the 10900 block of the Gulf Freeway feeder road about 1 p.m. on Aug. 27 when he was hit by a Nissan Sentra.

The motorcyclist was taken to Ben Taub Hospital, where he died on Monday. His name has not been released.

Investigators said the motorcyclist was determined to be at-fault in the collision.

The driver of the Nissan was not hurt.
