Motorcyclist crashes while trying to drive between cars

HOUSTON -

A motorcyclist was hospitalized in critical condition after a crash in northwest Houston.

Houston police said the motorcyclist was speeding on the North Loop near Ella Boulevard around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The motorcyclist tried to drive between two vehicles. and crashed into the back of a pickup truck, investigators said.

According to police, the driver of the pickup truck was not hurt.
