A woman and her daughter were found dead in a southwest Houston condo Monday.

Police said the double homicide occurred in the 7000 block of Jetty at 2:45 p.m.

The 35-year-old woman and 13-year-old girl were shot to death. They were found in different rooms.

A suspect was caught a short time later, officials said.

Investigators said the suspect, identified as the woman's ex-boyfriend, was intoxicated and bragged that he "had just finished some business."

A motive for the shooting and the victims' names were not released.
