A 16-foot-long yellow python named Banana who was taken from a Beaumont wildlife park earlier this year is home.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says they got a call on Sunday evening that there was a large snake by the entrance to the wildlife park, called Gator Country. Upon arrival, the deputies and Gator Country owner Gary Saurage identified the snake as Banana, the female albino Burmese python who was stolen from the park in April.
Saurage says she "appears to be in good condition" and he's glad to have her back.
Officials say the investigation continues into who took the snake.
Banana has been featured on CMT television's "Gator 911," which follows the adventures of Saurage and his team as they work to rescue gators.
