BAYTOWN, Texas -

Police say armed, masked men terrorized customers and employees of a Baytown dollar before leaving with cash.

Baytown police said around 8:30 p.m. Saturday, two masked men with guns stormed into a dollar store along West Main Street.

Once inside, police said robbers threatened to kill the cashier if she didn't hand over cash. Investigators said it only took a few seconds for the attackers to get away with nearly $1,000 in cash.

Shoppers, like Connie Nino, said they are worried about their safety.

"It makes me want to look over my shoulder. It has me worried and scared," said Nino.

Police said they're looking over surveillance video from the store to see if there's anything on there that could lead them to the robbers.

Anyone with information is asked to call Baytown Crime Stoppers at 281-427-8477.
